I had another scheduled CT scan and it's all clear!! It never fails though that I was sick this time around too. Remember my sore throat in January? Well, this time I started having a bad cough last week. Went to the docs, got a z pack and started feeling better Monday (the day of my scans). Well, two chest xrays did not catch the pneumonia that is in my left lung. The CT scan caught it, so now I'm on another z pack for 5 more days and I'll have a chest CT scan in May. Had it not been for that, I would be looking at a 6 month wait on scans!! Hey, as long as there's no lymphoma bring on pneumonia and anything else!! :) WOO-HOO!!

So, I'll probably be celebrating, praying and giving thanks until my next round of scans! Until then, here's to a very enjoyable next two months.

Happy Easter!

We enjoyed a very mild Easter this year and spent Easter at my mom's house, and the kids all had fun easter egg hunting and breaking the cascarones on everyone's heads!

Yee-Haw!! Giddy up....!

One of our building customers had 8 rodeo tickets (not to mention parking passes - yes!) to Monday night's Rodeo performance featuring Sugarland. The kids and Gabriel have no clue who they are, but we thought it was the perfect reason to go out on a school night and have some fun!

The weather had been horrible, miserable, just bleh. We had planned to spend most of the night inside anyhow. But by the time we arrived, the clouds had cleared and it ended up being a perfect night out. The kids had the run of the carnival, I didn't have to worry about someone falling behind, getting lost, long lines, etc...The Ferris Wheel was a bit nerve-wracking for us oldies! After that, the kids had fun on bumper cars, airplanes and even roller coasters!

I realized my camera has video right in the middle of the concert. I got a great shot (well, could have had more lighting) of Nicholas singing along to a song he had never heard in his life! Gotta love it!

Happy Birthday, Seth!

Our Seth-E-Poo (as he likes to be called by his girlfriends)turns 7 today!! We celebrated his birthday with some of his Cub Scout friends Sunday, and everyone had a really good time. I even got into the boxing ring to battle the 7 year olds! haha!!

Seth is such a spirited and loving little boy. He's such the charmer and is a great negotiater. :) He's truly a sweetheart and loves anything and everything Star Wars and Transformers. We also call him our own little 'Huck', that boy can squeeze into size 4t pants that come to his knees and he loves climbing trees barefoot!

Here are som pics from the past weekend. I also turned 35 Sunday, so we had a nice dinner after Seth's party with my mom and sister and it topped off a very busy weekend.

My life in photos...

It seems these days I don't leave home without my little point and shoot camera. I always seem to want to capture some moment digitally, either of the kids (most of the time), the dog, or mother nature. And this is one of the reasons why. On my way in to work the other morning I saw one of the most beautiful sunrises I had seen in a long time. And for those that don't know, I have always been captivated by clouds and the way the sun reflects light on and through them. Ever since I got hold of a 110 film camera at the age of 10 I have been snapping pictures of clouds, and things haven't changed nearly 25 years later. And you know what? No two are ever the same! :)
